Comets, the stuff of legend and myth has fascinated through ages and here it makes its presence again.

This time Comet Swan as it is called, still remains faint disappointing all the skywatchers. For some it might be fairly easy naked-eye comet but is not visible under bright city lights. As most of the comets, this fuzzy star not makes it clear what skywatchers should expect from this interesting green blob, which rather indicate that it has a lot of the poisonous gas cyanogen and diatomic carbon.

It makes its closest approach to Earth today. Eventually it will return to the distant reaches of the solar system and nobody knows for how long the comet will grace the night sky. This stuff of legend and myth also catalogued as C/2006 M4, is about halfway up in the sky in the direction of the constellation Corona Borealis. This shy comet won’t show much and is going to dim away but at least shows up which makes it interesting for the night sky gazers.
