National Satellite Meteorological Center (NSMC) has stated that Sun storms will get worse in the coming years.

Solar storms create solar winds that storm into the earth’s atmosphere and disrupt its magnetosphere, ionosphere and thermosphere.
These storms also have a disturbing effect on all satellite systems that provide communication, navigation, global positioning and defense monitoring.
According to the agency the cycle will reach its peak in 2012.
Such cycles of the Sun last for 11 years and this one will be the 24th recorded cycle since the first was recorded in 1755.
According to the experts these cycles should be constantly monitored to protect any damage to the important and delicate satellite systems.
