Space scientists at NASA have developed a new technology that can spot planets like Earth around other stars.

For the first time NASA has demonstrated a technology that can be used to spot Earth like planets in the solar system.

Previous efforts to find Earth like stars has resulted in discoveries of more gas balls like Jupiter and less rocky worlds like our Earth.

NASA has stated that their scientists will now be able to detect what is in the atmosphere of these planets.

Earlier scientists were confronted with a problem that the faint glow of planets was overshadowed by the bright light of their parent stars. It was like detecting a firefly next to a search light. But now the new technology somehow masks the light from the parent star and easily detects the faint glowing planet.

Scientists at NASA’s JPL say that their technology could enable a space telescope to photograph a distant planet 10 billion times fainter than its parent star.
