Apparently, the recent safe voyage of the space shuttle Discovery is enough to shut the skeptics and rev-up NASA for yet another space mission and that too as early as December this year. NASA is confident that the shuttle is capable of visiting space safely and this very fact has prompted NASA to go for an early launch.
The main thing about this mission is that NASA is intending to do all this in the first half of December so that it may give its workers time off for the holidays. The statement delivered by spokesperson of Kennedy Space Center, Jessica Rye is enough to back it up. She said, ‘It was an opportunity to allow employees to have more time with their families over the holidays.’
According to the original schedule of NASA, this launch was set to shoot on 14th December but now they are planning to launch it on December 7, which I think is a wonderful idea.
