After U.S. flight controllers cleared a problematic handrail issue Thursday, astronauts aboard the International Space Station (ISS) are once more able to stage spacewalks from their orbital laboratory, according to NASA officials.
With a few conditions, station managers lifted a month-long spacewalk ban aboard the station after a pair of ISS flight and management meetings today at the agency’s Johnson Space Center (JSC) in Houston, NASA spokesperson Kylie Clem said.
