Delivering the best of its services, Progress 24 cargo craft will be completing some important chores relating to the ISS’s waste material rejection program. The cargo craft is destined to carry the discarded hardware material and various other redundant items on August 1st.

Cosmonaut Oleg Kotov confirmed about gathering waste products from the US side of the International Space Station and is now tiding up the Russian side of the same.

The space scientists also confirmed that Progress 26 cargo vehicle would dock at the space station’s Pirs homing compartment on 5th of August. They opine that this clearance program would clear up enough space for the incoming cargo vehicle.

US astronaut Clay Anderson successfully activated a new Oxygen Generation System, OGS, which would provide the Space station with extra oxygen generated from the ‘Russian Elektron system’.

National Aeronautics and Space Administration, NASA, researchers at Houston commented that this latest updation of their oxygen system would surely cater to an extra six-member ISS crew.

The Space engineers at the ground helped powering up the station’s oxygen rack along with some other vital chores such as - configuring the software and testing a timer.
