Habitable zone is the one where water will be in the liquid form. But, inorder to sustain a life, apart from water, a stable star is also needed. According to the Scientists, Gliesi 581 is considered ideal.
Canada based MOST telescope nicknamed as Humble Space Telescope has conducted this survey. You would be astonished to know that this observatory is basically suitcase sized. It has an incredible ability for observing changes in brightness that too with amazing sensitivity.
Gliese 581 was being observed by MOST for 6 weeks. According to Jaymie Matthews, University of British Columbia researcher, during observation of any star its brightness changes only a few tenths. This clearly specifies that output of radiation will be stable. Hence, Gliese 581 has more chances of liquid water along with stable warming.
