We are all talking that humans must colonize planets in other solar systems but we are always talking about people who are physically as well as mentally sound. But, what about people who are suffering from disabilities even though most of them not even think of going out there. However, there’s one man who wants to go and experience the micro gravity and who has done so much for the cause, he is none other than renowned British cosmologist Stephen Hawking, who received the world’s oldest award for scientific achievement, the Copley Medal, from Britain’s Royal Society on Thursday.
And for that cause British billionaire Richard Branson has come up who is sending over a medical officer to talk with physicist Stephen Hawking about getting him into space. That’s how the founder of Virgin Galactic responded to Hawking’s comment that “maybe Richard Branson will help” him achieve his long-held goal of reaching the final frontier, even though he’s a quadriplegic who needs a blink-controlled computer to communicate.

The company’s founder, British entrepreneur Sir Richard Branson, partnered with Rutan last year to create The Spaceship Company. The company’s goal is to build a fleet of commercial suborbital spaceships and launch aircraft.
It is not just about sending a renowned physicist Stephen Hawking, to experience the micro gravity but it would be one giant leap for the world’s best-known physicist - and a powerful signal of support for other people with disabilities. This will be an incremental improvement to the technology.
