
First, the shutting down of CMG 3, that overheated and spilled a toxic irritant last month forcing the crew to don masks and gloves, which was, declared first emergency ever onboard the eight-year-old station. And now a faulty antenna apparently prevented Russian cargo ship from mooring completely to the international space station (I.S.S.).
Russian and U.S. space officials must be worried about the problems that are creeping in the International Space Station time and again. However, the good news is that our heroes in the micro gravity are safe as they have enough oxygen, water and food and the Russian space experts hope to resolve the mechanical glitch quickly.
In the mean time station’s crew can enjoy the meals cooked by celebrity chef Alain Ducasse, at least something to enjoy in hard times out there.
UPDATE: The flaw has been fixed now and the space ship is docked successfully with the ISS.
