The 400 light-years away open cluster in the constellation of Taurus and among the nearest to the Earth — Pleiades — seems to be ever happening, now that small, rocky planets may be in the making in the cluster!
It is all happening around one of the hundreds of stars — known as HD 23514 — in the Pleiades cluster and interestingly, the forming planets could resemble either Earth or Mars! The star is found to be surrounded by an extraordinary number of hot dust particles, and these perhaps are the planets’ building blocks, researchers believe.
Leading the study, Joseph Rhee of the University of California at Los Angeles said,
This is the first clear evidence for planet formation in the Pleiades, and the results we are presenting may well be the first observational evidence that terrestrial planets like those in our solar system are quite common.
Terrestrial planets similar to those in our solar system might probably be quite common, but none of the 200 planets spotted around stars outside our solar system are as small as Earth and just one.
But, will the forming Pleiades cluster-planets be capable of supporting life? This question is surely the next that will keep the scientists busy with.

wow is not cool!! hey whats up, back at the planet X1227 my town was hit by a nuclear meteor (yes they do exist and they suck)sent by another planet but that’s a different story. anyway its a sad story, me and my best friend were running from the deadly virus that it spreads. we always knew when the virus was after us because they added artificial color to the virus. we had found a new town to live in, it was a nice town and me and my mate were happy until the virus came out of no where. Me and my mate were lucky to get away but over 100000 people died the second most horrible death. we run to the next town which already most people had evacuated. my mate and I decided to stay for one night and leave in the morning. that night the house we were staying in was put on fire by the alien enemy’s we are at war with this moment. I ran out to get my friend but his room was on fire, i could hear him yelling out for help, i strait away ran and got a wet towel and forced my way into the room and grabbed my mate, he was badly burnt. i ran out of the building and took my friend to a hospital. most of the doctors and nurses had left the town so it took a while to get real treatment. when he did it was took late, i saw him on the bed, lifeless. it made mad and angry at the same time. at that very moment a soldier of the enemy came in and was going to light the place on fire with his multiplex gun. i ran up and fought this guy to the ground and shot him with the multiplex gun. the hospital was thankful for me saving the place, i then decided to join the fight against the other planet but that is a different story. if you want to hear it tell me so
