China’s Shenzhou VII rocket and the country’s first space walk mission scheduled to launch in 2007, has been postponed by six months until 2008. But, what is the reason? Huang Chunping, a senior consultant to China’s space program told the official Xinhua news agency on Saturday, “There is nothing wrong. We just need more time to prepare for the mission.’
Shenzhou VII was a complicated program that needed careful tests and trials, Huang explained. But, he also promised that China was fully capable of tackling all technological problems.
